Could History Of Melanoma Cause Low BP And Extreme Fatigue?

My husband has been experiencing periods of extreme tiredness and sluggishness. He said he was going to lay down tonight around 8:30 p.m. because he just couldn t keep his eyes open. I took his blood pressure three times while he was sitting in his chair. The pressures were 110/59; 107/57; and 109/59. His pulse ranged from 85; 85;86. He was having similar symptoms 5 years ago when he blacked out driving his truck home from the gym. He had a tilt test done which he failed miserably, and wore a heart monitor for a month with no signs of irregular heart beats. Six years ago, he had a large spot on his back left shoulder blade which turned out to be melanoma. It was taken off and was told that the cancerous spot was almost through the last layer before getting into his lymph nodes. Could this past history of melanoma have anything to do with his blood pressure dropping from his normal 132/86 to the low pressures that he was having tonight?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
A past history of melanoma is not associated with low blood pressure.
fall in blood pressure can be due to syncope, loos of fluid or electrolytes from body etc.
However melanoma is not directly linked with fall in blood pressure.
In case if there is any previous history of fall in blood pressure or any other disorder associated with vascular system, you may consult your physician.
If the blood pressure does not come out to be normal, medical help will be required.

Thanks and take care
