Could Headache And Vomiting In A Child Be Due To Virus?

Hi. My son is 6 years old and he has complaining of severe headache and then he vomits soon after. This started Saturday and I thought it was a stomach virus but he only vomited once. This evening, Monday, he began to become lethargic started complaining of a severe headache and then threw up. Could this still be a virus or should I see a physician

Hi,

Your main concern is headache not vomiting. If I would be your doctor, I would suggest you vision test, a simple eye check up will clear many things.

After that, go for BP check up and consult again with us.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Hina Javed
