Could Flu Shot Cause Shingles?

can the flu shot cause shingles? got the shot 3 weeks ago. at the location of the shot, broke out with sores, swelling and pain 3 days after the shot. Was told by my Dr. it is shingles. still have pain, the sores have pretty much healed and swelling has gone. Thanks

No, there is no connection between the flu shot and developing shingles. It will be an unfortunate coincidence.
