Could Fish And Fruit Intake Lead To Excess Gas?

hi, i have recently changed my food intake to become a pescetarian. When i had quorn 3-4 times a week, i experienced extreme gas. So after a month of letting it adjust to my body i gave it up. Now after a month of being without it, i am still experiencing more gas than normal. The only thing changed in my intake is an increase in fish, no meat, and much more fruit. Could any of these be the causing? what should i do?

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Noted here you have excess gas formation...
The cause might be.....
-less water intake
-sedentary life style
-smoking
-less fiber food intake etc....

Here you have to take fiber food like whole grain , wheat bran and banana etc...
Continue to take more fruits ...

Red beetroots rich in pottasium , magnesium and fiber ....so help in healthy digestion....

Blueberries rich in fiber and vitamin c so help in digestive benefit

Take more water....
Take green leafy veg more.
Exercise done regularly...

If still needs fiber supplement can be taken...

If still problem continue USG done as further work up.

Take care.
