Yes, it may be related to gallbladder definitely since SGOT may be a marker of biliary stones and epigastric pain is one of the symptoms of biliary disorders including gallbladder stones and your symptoms are suggesting gallbladder or gastric issue.. It would be advisable to have ultrasound or HIDA scan done to verify your gallbladder motility and the presence of stones in it. ALso, it will show if liver and pancreas function are fine which are also possible causes of deranged SGOT levels.
