Could Endometrial Wall Thickening And Sac Presence Indicate A Continued Pregnancy?

I am 41 old female about to have a D&C done. I had a miscarriage 2 months ago and they say the endometrial wall has thickened more than double and the ultrasound showed a sac still attached. I am So Scared And Confused. ...could I still be pregnant? ?

Hi There,

After going through your question, my opinion is that:
1) Presence of a gestational sac means that you are pregnant.
2) Thickening of endometrium again means you have a pregnancy.
3) However, it may not be a viable pregnancy.
4) The best option is to get a D&C done to clear out your uterus.

I hope this could answer your question.

Regards,

Dr. SHikha
