Could Dry, Cracking And Peeling Lips With Small Red Bump On Lips Indicate Celiac?

Yes, I seem to always have dry cracking and peeling lips and have noticed a very small red bump - size of a pin head on my lower lip. I try and use moisturizer but is only temporary. I also have a wheat allergy and I know that is one symptom of Celiac.

Hi,
Your lip problem doesn't seem to be related to celiac disease.
Cheilitis could be due to dry cold weather, inadequate water intake, nutritional deficiency, sun damage, contact dermatitis due to cosmetics(lipsticks), frequent licking of lips.
To treat the same
increase water intake
Take a multivitamin, multimineral supplement for few weeks
Apply a good quality lip balm multiple times in a day
Apply a steroid antibiotic cream over lips twice in a day for few days.

Hope this would help you out.
Take care
