Could Drinking Lucozade For Cold Cause Detection Of Pre Diabetes In The Test?
I went for a routine cholesterol bloods test,, and also to have my white cells checked also as I had been having a lot of colds etc lately. Doctor said my Blood sugar showed sign of pre diabetes,,, ,as I was suffering colds for few weeks before test I had been in the habit of drinking 2/3 Ltr of Lucozade ,,, was curious if this could have had affect on blood tests?

Looking at your history, I would suggest you to get another test done - HbA1C or glycosylated hemoglobin.
Signs of prediabetes in blood sugar usually cannot be due to the energy drinks. However time and day is important to correlate.
As the results are not satisfactory, you can get another test which checks the three months control of sugar - HbA1C
Based on report after the result, a confirmatory diagnosis can be made.
Cold, would not influence blood sugar test.
