Could Discomfort In Left Side Of Chest Be Due To Stress?
Just wondering if what I am experiencing is stress related. I have dull pain/discomfort on the left side of my chest. Moving does not make it worse, but often better. It does not bother me all of the time. Also feel a tightness like a sore tendon (?) above/around my shoulder blade.
Thanks for your question on HCM. As a rule any left sided chest pain should be first evaluated for cardiac causes. So get done ECG first and rule out cardiac cause. If ECG is normal than it can be due to muscle pull. It can be due to stress also. So avoid stress and movements causing pain. Apply warm water during bath on affected site. Take good painkillers and muscle relaxant.
