Hello,

Since you have history of fall associated with ankle injury and now you have painful ankle and cannot walk. You are suggested to get clinically examined by an orthopedics and get an X-ray done along with CT and MRI. Your treatment will depend on whether you have a sprain or a fracture. Since you do not have any swelling it could be a sprain. Sprains occur when there is a stretched ligament or when the ligament is torn (partially / completely).

In the meantime, give rest to your foot and leg. Keep the injured area propped up. Compression bandage may give relief but do not wrap it too tightly, let blood flow. You can also put ankle binder support for relieve. For relief from pain, take Naproxen or Combiflam, one SOS when needed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
