Could Constipation With Brown Vaginal Discharge Be Related To Leaky Gut Syndrome?

Hi. For the past two weeks i have been experiencing constipation along with a brown vaginal discharge - not too heavy. I am mid cycle and am currently taking the contraceptive pill. Occasionally i have bloating and mild abdominal cramps. My diet is good. I have been drinking a lot of water and eating a lot of fiber, which doesnt seem to be helping. I was diagnosed with Leaky Gut Syndrome about one year ago, caused by parasites from travelling asia. I eat a gluten free diet now. Any idea what is causing the constipation / discharge?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
The contraceptive pills can cause constipation for some. and the brown discharge also.
The other causes may be the anemia, and infection.
I advise you to consult a gynecologist for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin, ornidazole, fluconazole, and hematinics .
Take more of green leafy vegetables,pulses,sprouts,and protein rich foods to have blood,general health and resistance against infections.
