Could Constant Dry Cough Be The Side Effect Of Lisinopril?

I am currently taking Liprinosil and have been experiencing constant cough caused by a dry throat. My Dr. Who perscribed it to me has left the practice and I am in search of a new Dr. In the mean time should I stop taking the Liprinosil? She has me on metformin and simvastitin as well. She said that since I was on the metformin that I needed to be on Liprinosil to prevent me from getting high blood pressure. What should I do, I noticed that the cough seems to be one of the side of effects?
