Could Constant Crying In A Toddler Be Due To Urine Infection?

My son is two years old. He cries and holds himself. I thought it may be diaper rash but I don t see anything. It seems he cries once in awhile and not for long. I wonder if it hurts when he pees and may have an infection. Should I take him to the doctor?

Hi,

You may need to do urine analysis in the first place, as it may be urinary tract infection and it causes pain and you do not know.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Salah Saad Shoman, Internal Medicine Specialist
