Could Chronic Cough Be Due To Allergies?

Thank you dr. I have had a chronic cough for one month. I seen my dr. She put me on prednisone until completion. I still have this deep cough. I am taking inhalers,Claritin , cough medicine. Do you think this is caused by allergies? I am going to see an allergy specialist, because I am allergic to a lot of things. I was on shots many years ago and they did help. Thank you
