Could chlamydia be a cause of a missed period ?

Ive never missed a period and I missed this months I ve taken pregnancy test but there negative. Could chlamydia be a cause of a missed period I heard it don t effect it just makes you spot in between. Missed period

Missed periods can be due to ovarian cyst;hormonal imbalance;thyroid problems;mental stress and even pregnancy.Since you have missed your periods first time and even the pregnancy test is negative please wait for a week and if you don't get periods then you repeat the pregnancy test and if the second test is also negative then consult a Gynaecologist for opinion and treatment.

Hi,thanks for query.chlamydia can not lead to missing of period.As pregnancy test is negative some hormonal abnormality could be the reason for missing your period.Please discuss this with your treating doctor.
