Could Burning White Spots In Throat Indicate Throat Cancer?

2 days ago I felt like something was stuck in the back of my throat then my throat started hurting like burning especially when I ate I looked at my throat yesterday there were a few white spots today they are gone and it is just red. I am concerned about throat cancer. I smoke and drink not heavy but I do it. I have never had chronic sore throat or cough but still concerned.

Hi.
This can not be cancer. Cancer is usually painless and does not cause any symptoms in the initial phases .
This is called Granular Pharyngitis. You will be OK with a course of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines .
You have t stop smoking and drinking altogether as this will be most important causative or enhancing factors.
