Could Burning Sensation Around The Penis Ring Be Fungal Infection?

Hi, I am feeling burning sensation around the penis ring since last 5-6 weeks. In the starting there was burning inside the opening hole as well. There is some white wet powder kind of material also appear but it is not liquid. Last week i was feeling relief but problem increased again. I am also suffering from low fever, cough and cold from last 2 days, may be it is because of change in weather. I guess this is fungal infection, please suggest treatment.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Burning sensation in penile opening along with white colored discharge from penile opening could be due to infection of urinary tract or reproductive tract.
Fungal infection is one of the possibilities.
I suggest you to get a urine analysis and urine microscopy to look for evidence of infection.
The penile discharge has also to be examined to look for evidence of infection.
Thus, get these investigations done to know the cause of infection.
If infectious agent is isolated, antibiotic sensitivity also needs to be done to select most appropriate antibiotic.
You need to refrain from sexual activity till infection clears else the infection can transmit to your partner.
Associated fever, cough and cold also support an infectious process.
