Could Brownish Discharge While On Clomid Be Periods?

Hi. Im on my first round of clomid. I ovulated. My period is five days late and I started to discharge brownish/redish. It does not look like my normal period. I took a pregnancy test at home two days ago and it was negative. Could this discharge be my period?

This may not be regular menses period and bleeding may be dysfunctional some time this is happening due to hormonal changes but this is nothing to worry because this comes to normal even without the medicines, hope this information helps take care.
