Could Breast Soreness, Back Aches, Lightheadedness, Nausea, Vomiting, Bloating Be A Pregnancy?

I recently went on a trip and forgot my pills. I missed the last three active pills. I had spotting or a light period for two or three days after. I did not start my new pack of pills until the following Sunday, which is when I would have been scheduled to start a new pack. I was not aware I should start them immediately. My husband and I had sex the days between spotting and starting the pills. Is there a chance I could be pregnant? I have been on Trivora for 8 years. I am having breast soreness, lower back aches, lightheadedness, nausea with some vomiting, and feel a little bloated. I am on the third week of pills now.

Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic.
2 ) It is most unlikely to get pregnant, in the very first week of stopping the pills. START taking the next pill pack as suggested.
3 ) To clear the dilemma about pregnancy, you can get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy. In case of doubt blood beta HCG test and USG will be of help.
4 ) In case of negative pregnancy test results, your symptoms can be due to PMS - premenstrual syndrome. In that case, I will suggest you to opt for a healthy diet and regular exercise regimen. Start on long acting form of Vitamin B 6 , vitamin E and evening primrose oil supplements on daily basis at least for next 3 months.

I hope this answer helps you. Thanks.
