Could Blood In Urine Be The Side Effect Of Taking Codine?
I am currently on warfarin for an AVR. I am also taking Codine/ paracetamol for ongoing nerve pain post Shingles. I have noticed blood in my urine which started several hours ago. Is this because of the medication, or should I be concerened and get medical help?

Hi,
From history it seems that due to taking blood thinning agent like Warferin there is tendency for bleeding from any part of the body.
It is not advisable to take any pain reliever as it may produce stomach bleeding.
Consult your doctor and get examined.
Go for regular INR for Prothrombine time.
Ok and take care.
