Could Anxiety, Tingling Hands And Irritated Throat Indicate Thyroid Disorder?

hey ive been having some problems and dont know what they are from. Im thinking its a thyroid disorder , my anxiety has been really bad. Ive been having problems with my throat , it feels like when i swallow something it gets stuck at the bottom of my throat , wether its food, a drink or even saliva. Im having sharp chest pains , my arm , legs , and hands/fingers tingle . Also my eyes hurt and i had a horrible headache . And my family has a history of thyroid disorder. Any ideas ??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. The symptoms you mentioned can be present in hypothyroidism. So it is better to go for thyroid profile test to rule out this. TSH will be elevated in such case. Lipid profile test and ECG should be taken also. BP should be checked also. Cholesterol is usually elevated in hypothyroidism also. Taking thyroxine supplements might be helpful to relieve these symptoms in most of the cases.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if any thing not clear.
Thanks
