i have had 3 operations "left ankle arthrodesis" failed twice and think the 3rd op has failed again... been 3 years since i had my last op. Have left it and walking without crutches, which is fine for me. Pain is almost everyday, especially when i walk a little too much. Woke up this morning and couldnt walk, the moment i stepped out of bed it felt like a cramping pain that stabbed right through the bottom padding of my foot. Ankle looks a little dis-coloured, but no prominent bruising or swelling. Im running a business as my boss has gone away, cant afford to go to hospital right now. Shall I go have a voltaren injection, will it help? is this maybe arthritis? Please help!!!
