Could Adderall Cause Throat Pain Like Side Effects?
I ve been taking adderall for 2 years and am having ;problems with constricted throat...feels swollen, like a rash, hard to swallow...voice cracks too early...I make a living doing voice overs for commercials and this is killing my career. already had my esophogus stretched and now a swallowing test coming up but I think this has to do with the speed like qualities of the drug and I should get off it. Comments, Questions? Thank you for your help

Adderrall doesn't cause your constricted throat condition. in less frequent cased may be it can cause dry mouth but that's it. If you don't have any pathological constriction or infections pertaining to the throat, it is safe to assume your condition is occupation related. I can give you set of instructions to follow to alleviate the problem:
1. Rest your voice as often as possible outside your profession. Take small sips of lukewarm water never keep your mouth and throat dry.
2. Gargle with lukewarm saltwater as many times as possible.
3. Sleep at night with an humidifier.
4. Avoid any irritants, air condition.
5. Use water vaporizer daily.
6. Suckle some ginger honey hard candy.
After 1-2 weeks if the symptoms persist, consult an ENT for further evaluation with laryngoscopy and give appropriate treatment.
