Could Abdominal Cramping And White Discharge Indicate Chances Of Miscarriage?

i had a positive pregnancy test on the 10th January, LMP 16th December. I have been suffering with abdominal cramping on my left side. I had abdomen ultrasound yesterday, 16th Jan, no signs of pregnany were detected but 2 cysts were found on my left ovary. I had blood taken and my HCG level was 1380, i am going for a repeat blood test tomorrow, 18th Jan. I had a blighted ovum miscarriage June last year an am very worried i could miscarry again, should i be worried? I am also loosing a lot of white discharge.

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. It is quite difficult to visualize the pregnancy by ultrasound at 4 weeks of gestation. Excessive white vaginal discharge and abdominal cramps are common in early pregnancy.
The cyst noticed in the ovary can be corpus luteum or simple ovarian cysts and is not a reason to worry.
I would suggest you to get your ultrasound repeated after2 weeks to assess the pregnancy.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
