Could A Right Abdominal And Shoulder Pain Be An Ectopic Pregnancy?
Hi I am 32 years old. I have recently been seeing someone and having regular sex. I am late and I have lower right abdominal pain. I think noticed spotting earlier this week and I have sharp pain in my left shoulder. I did a pregnancy test that showed negative. I am not feeling sick, just tired and irritable. Is there a possibility of ectopic pregnancy and if so, I think that I must be about 3 weeks pregnant - what can I do?

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion the urine pregnancy test should be positive weakly atleast.But as the test is negative the chance of pregnancy rare.Anyways as you have spotting and pain abdomen I suggest you to get an ultrasound done for the diagnosis.Also the repitition of urine pregnancy test is needed after a week.If ultrasound is normal the delayed period with spotting might be due to hormonal imbalance.
