Could A High BP With Pain Near The Collar Bone Be Serious ?
hello. I am 27, female, little overweight . 5 5 .fast heart beat 2 days ago. had a friend to a test with her machine. it was 135/96 (or something like that. pulse was 88) then i took some garlic. it continues down to 121/90. pulse rat went to 76. went to take a nap today. woke up with fast heartbeat. Just took some garlic. still feelign uncomfortable. little pain in my neck near collar bone .

ur Bp is a bit on higher side for ur age.the ideal wud b 120/80.
130/90 is the cutoff above which it is called high BP or hypertension.
Plz visit a doctor n also get blood cholestrol n thyroid tests done

Hello, welcome to HCM. Blood pressure is affected by many factors. It should be measured after sitting at rest for 15 minutes. Anxiety or stress both physical and mental can raise BP. Just 1 high reading doesnt signifiy much. You should regulalry monitor your blood pressure and in case you find it raised you should visit your doctor to get assessed. You can walk daily to keep it under check and reduce your salt intake. Wish you good health.

just did test on it with machine. it says 115/85, pulse 75. but still feel uncomfortable. will try to go to the doctor in 2 hrs. what should i ask for when i get there?
