Could A Delayed Period With A Faint Positive Line Indicate A Pregnancy?
I have been using the nuvea ring as a form of birth control but i was a couple days late putting the new one in. Now it is time for my period (exactly 3 weeks frm putting the ring in) and i am 4 days late. I took 2 preganancy test one was positive with a faint line the other was negative. Could I be pregnant?
3. Ectopic pregnancy wherein the pregnancy is implanted somewhere outside the uterine cavity, most commonly the tube. Such pregnancy usually ruptures causing alarming bleeding requiring emergency surgical intervention and many units of blood transfusion. However, if the condition is diagnosed before rupture, it can be treated conservatively with medicines like Methotrexate.
Ultrasonography can help you in sorting out the condition. If a live baby is seen inside the uterine cavity, it suggests that the test is weak positive due to too early test. If the baby is inside the uterine cavity without any heart activity, it suggests missed abortion. If the uterine cavity is empty in spite of (weak) positive pregnancy test, it is suggesting ectopic pregnancy and needs immediate attention.
Please report to your Gynaecologist ASAP.
I hope you got the message.

Could A Delayed Period With A Faint Positive Line Indicate A Pregnancy?
Hallow Dear, Faint (weak) positive pregnancy test after missed period could be due to: 1. Test done too early. You may confirm after 4-5 days. 2. Recent missed abortion.
