General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms are probably related to muscle pain. Blood clots are not predisposed to happen in that area of the body.

I recommend you to use anti-inflammatory medication for the pain such as Ibuprofen three times a day. I also recommend using Voltaren gel for local application.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
