Could A 9 Year Old Kid Be Diabetic?

My kid is only 9 and he drinks water so frequently and also go to toile now and then. I want him to be checked but only if there is a chance of being a diabetic . His mother is but I am not.

Diabetes can affect any age, He might be having Type1 diabetes which is known to occur in early age also.. i know of a child who got diagnosed as diabetic at age of 4 years only....so kindly do not ignore the symptoms... talk to his doctor sson and get necessary tests done to confirm and start treatment...All the very best..
