Could I Be Pregnant With Missing Active Pills?

Hi, I have been on optilova since january. two weeks ago i missed a pill but i am not sure when exactly. It was the second week of the active pills. I had sex with my husband few days later, the next day i took an emergency pill. Two hours later i had sex with my husband but he didn t ejaculate inside me. Last friday i started my inactive pills and i had sex with my husband the same night. Tonight i took my fifth inactive pills and still haven t seen my period. Could i be pregnant?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

The first rule of missing pills: if you miss one pill, take two the next day; the second rule: if you miss two doses, discontinue the pack and use alternate forms of contraception like condoms and report to your doctor.

I doubt you can get pregnant by missing one pill, sometimes contraception can lead to an irregularity in your menstrual cycle. You could conduct a home pregnancy test using an early morning urine sample or report to your doctor for further management ma'am.
