Could HIV or HPV cause tongue lumps?

for years i have noticed different size bumps on my tongue mostly on the back portion, non painful, and my tongue is coated with a yellowish white coating. I also have hiv and HPV im very healthy female with no other medical problems or symptoms although i have smoked for 20 years .wondering if this could be hpv or tongue caner? Will a dental cancer screening be sufficient?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The bumps over the back of the tongue can be a circumvallate papillae this can occur secondary to nutritional deficiency. Consult a oral physician and get it evaluate. I dont think so it is cancer or some other growth. Just get yourself screened by consulting a oral physician
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
