Could Graves /hypothyroidism Be The Cause Of My Other Medical Conditions?

Have been seeing many doctors for almost 4 years now. I am only 43 and feel that I won t last much longer. They cannot determine exactly what is wrong with me. Deformed nails, pretybial myxedema, high white blood count, graves opthamology, (I am hypothyroid now) and various other ailments. I have been IDDM for 33 years, but still nothing seems to add up. Could graves/hypothyroidism be the cause of all of this? Have had several eye surgeries (decompression, retina reattached, cataract, ad nauseum) Sigh, if you can offer any help, it would be appreciated. Thanks for your time. Wt.- 133 lbs. Ht.- 5 1

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here I could say that certain symptoms are related with the thyroid dysfunction while some of your symptoms are functional in origin, the symptoms which are due to thyroid dysfunction would come around soon for the rest of function you really need to keep your stress level very low, take care and have a nice day.
