General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having viral bronchitis.
Take some cough suppressant syrup for 2-3 days.
Gradually you will be alright.
If cough is continued then there might be chances of having bacterial infection.
Then go for one antibiotic medicine course after consulting your doctor.
Avoid cold drinks and junk food.
Ok and take care.

Hi..
Thanks for the query..
It could be a URTI..
You can get a x ray done to know the extent of infection.
You can start antibiotic, cough syrup and do saline gargling and also drink warm water...
Take care.
