Cough, Cold, Headache. Prescribed Telvas For Blood Pressure. Reason?

I have sever cough & cold for last 3 months. As due to sever cough cold and headache, When I consulted dr. he checked up my BP and it was 150 / 95. So after 7 to 8 times blood pressure check up I have started taking BP tablet Telvas - Telmisartan 20 mg every morning after breakfast as I read in internet if BP is high then this may be cause of sever cough & cold. But after taking 8 tablets the situation remains same. Why still often I am suffering from cold and sneezing. I am 38 years old answer me on my e-mail ID YYYY@YYYY

Welcome to Healthcare Magic,

As per your given clinical data,there is no relation to your B.P pills and cough,cold.
Cough and cold may be related to air-way infection.

So i suggest you to consult your physician to rule out any airway infection and get treated for that.
