Costo Chondritis Not Responding Ot OTC Anti Inflammatory Tablets And Gels. Advice

I have costo chondritis (new diagnosis) and not responding to over counter anti inflammatory tablets or gels. Would a cause of prescribed inflammatories be better? Getting so I don't want to go out in case I catch a cold and difficult to do simple every day things. Been told could go to pain clinic but why not get rid of inflammation that causes pain rather than mask pain?

Hi, It is always better to consult a doctor for any disease, diagnosis is the most important for cure, costo chondritis is a symptom, and over the counter drugs, mainly the antiinflamatories will give only the symptom relief.
You may use the O.T.C. for temporary relief of symptoms but not the cure. So it is always important to consult a doctor for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you.
