Coronary Angiography Report. What Are The Findings From The Report?

My father-in-law's CORONARY ANGIOGRAPHY REPORT is
LEFT MAIN - NORMAL, LAD - Type-II, proximal 30-40% stenosis., diagonal 1 : Large, ostial & proximal plaquing
diagonal2 - Normal , LCs - Proximal 40-50% stenosis mid 90% stenosis, OM-1- normal, OM-2(Major OM)- Ostial toproximal 80% stenosis , OM-3 Normal, RCA- Dominant, proximal 95% diffuse stenosis, Mid- 100% oclusion (CTO), distal RCA, PDA, PLV filling retrogradely from left injection., Renal Antio- Bilateral Normal Renal Arteries.
IMPRESSION - Double Vessel Disease, Recommendation : PTCA/Stent to LCX-Major OM

Sir please intimate, What cost is required for above treatment. & where it is done in India in cheap and best,

Hello Dear!

This is Dr.Suleman Resident cardiology in cardiac rehabilitation center.

Well this Angiograhy test shows that blood vessel to your father-in-law heart are blocked. These need to be open as soon as possible. There are two ways we open it

1) surgery
3) using same angiography machine

I wont suggest surgery to your father-in-law because
1) it is costly
2) it is risky and dangerous when compare to angiography.

the second method is STENT which is also written in your Test result. in our country STENT almost cost 1 lac to 1.5 lacs Pakistani Rupee. (convert it to your country currency). In my hospitals we dont charge patients some extra money for procedure as we are in Govt Setup. but private hospitals charge almost 50000 PKR for the procedure. But I have heard India is a little cheap in these rates. Just go and Visit near hospital where PCI facility is available and they will tell you the rate.
