Continuous White, Foamy White Saliva, Tonsils Covered In Scabs, Sore Ears, Tender Jaws Post Tonsillectomy. Infection?

I am 47 year old female and had a tonsillectomy 15 days ago and for a week now i have had continuous white foamy saliva and its really bad through the night too. I have to sleep with tissues by the bed and go around in the day spitting into a tissue. Do i have a infection. My tonsils are still covered in scaba and i have sore ears and tenderness around my right jaw
