Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

Your child seems having an upper respiratory tract infection most probably like laryngitis or croup.

Watch carefully for any stridor, cyanosis, and respiratory difficulty and if you find any of these, report to emergency immediately.

I advise you to use prescribed medication for this condition.

Use dextromethorphan if it is prescribed by your pediatrician for this present condition.

Hope I have answered your query.

Regards.
