Constipation And Pain Above Rib Cage. History Of Being On Treatment For Cancer. Is This Due To Phrenic Nerve Problem?

My husband has recently had treatment for lung cancer? He had radiation therapy for 6 week x 5 days And Was to have chemo for 6 weeks x 1 day a week but ended up only having 4 dosEs of chemo as he developed a drop foor palsy and a phrenic nerve palsy? Sincehe has been home he has slowly been improving in all aspects! However hE is now finding that he is constipated and has a pain above the rib cage untiL the laxatives work. Is this something that can be caused from a phrenic nerve problem?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I think the constipation is nothing to do with his medical condition neither with his chemotherapy, it is separate condition and need to manage accordingly, never ever use any laxative or purgative, encourage for drinking lot of water put him on fibber diet this will come around at the most "Isabgol" can be used, have nice day.
