Constant Throat Infection, Swollen Throat. COPD, Chest X-ray Done. Taken Ibuprofen. What Could It Be?

hello i am 60 year old woman and i am getting constant throat infections and a swollen throat that lasts a week at most then goes away with the help of ibuprofen . I have recently been checked for copd and been cleared also had chest x rays for lung cancer as i am an ex smoker could it be throat cancer? or is it just my healthy immune system , my partner is a heavy smoker

i think to be allergic as off and on more mucus production on exposure to allergen can cause this
the smoke can also trigger this as your history says that your partener smoke a lot
mucus
you need to get xray pns waters view and see ent doctor to find the cause for permanent relief
