Constant Diarrhea, On Gluten Free Diet. What Is Wrong ?
My name is AAAA I have been having diarrhea for 4 years and they have put me on a gluten free diet. I am a R.N. I have not found out what is wrong with me. My daughter told me she had a friend that had Lymphocytic colitis. Her Gastroenterologist ordered her Cholestyramine for oral suspension. I have taken 1/2 a packet in morning and in the afternoon. I have lost from 132 to 98 pounds and the doctors don't want to see me because they were not in class they discussed what I have. I had paracites for 15 years before they were diagnosed by a doctor in ,Raleigh, N.C. who gives every patient a sheet about have you been out of the country where and when. I had Strongloids, and Tape Worms for 15 years an lost from 156 to 118 Thank You.

Hi,it appears that you might be having lactose intlarance, if it is not there also avoid taking milk and milk products. Avoid taking more of spices, junk foods, and oily foods, Have deworming every week.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe ofloxacin ornidazole, ranitidine , lactic acid bacilli, and loperamide when ever there is frequency of stools. Thank you.
