Constant Abdominal Pain, Bad Taste In Mouth, Sick Feeling, Pain Between Shoulder Blades And Chest. What Could Be Wrong?
I have constant abdominal pain , a bad taste in the mouth, feel very sick all the time but not been sick. I get pain between my shoulder blades and chest . I have had a scan and do not have gallstones. I have had this problem since xmas. I am waiting to see specialist. I am on omeprozole but does not seem to be helping. Can you give me an idea of what is wrong. Thank you.
thank you.
this type of problem have some differential diagnosis.
peptic ulcer disease, chronic pancreatitis, reflux esophagitis & non ulcer dyspepsia are the possible causes.
at first an endoscopy of the upper GIT is helpful to exclude PUD & esophagitis.
if it is non conclusive then other causes should be excluded.
it is better to consult a gastroenterologist.
