Hello:) My almost 11 month old has had sweet smelling poopie for quite a while now-months. He is NOT breastfeed. I am certainly not complaining, BUT it seems that if his rear is exposed to that poopie for even the shortest amount of time, he gets diaper rash-very badly. I feel so bad because he cries horribly when I wipe him. I get it under control and he goes to the sitter for a day (who has her hands full) and its back again-to the point where it looks like some of the skin in almost like rubbed away:( I ve been dealing with it for long enough that I just feel there is a connection to his sweet smelling poopie and the rash. I have asked his pediatrician if he feels the sweet smell is telling of anything but he says no and I trust him. I just thought I would ask someone else because this diaper rash and his cries are killing me!!!!! THANK YOU.
