Confusion Regarding Removal Of Ovaries

I am trying to decide if I should have one of my ovaries removed. I have already had a hysterectomy. My worry is that the other ovary won't function, hormonally. I already have depression and anxiety, I would prefer not to go into menopause right now.

hi
thanks for using healthcare magic

U did not disclose ur age. If ur age is around 35, then there is no need for operation. U can wait few more years because it would lead more hormonal imbalance, which could increase depression and anxiety symptoms. go for operation only if u r feeling any problem due to it. rest u can consult a gynecologist for further harm after operation.

Thanks
