Condom Came Off During Sex, Took Levonelle, Due On Period. Pregnancy Chances?

The condom came off during sex. My boyfriend didn t finish and he was pretty dry down there throughout all of it. This was on the 20th of October. I took the Levonelle morning after pill roughly 36 hours after on the 22nd. I was due on my period the day I took the pill. It s now 5 days late. I m panicking! Am I pregnant?

hello,

Sex around period due date is extremely safe and you took LEVONELLE pill after 36 hrs which gives additional 85% protection against unwanted pregnancy. Here, chance of pregnancy is negligible.

Late period is due to effect of the pill, leading to hormonal imbalance. It can delay your period 1 to 2 weeks.

To be sure, you must undergo one home pregnancy test 2 weeks after last sex date i.e after 3rd Nov.

If you don't get your period within 5th Nov, you must consult with local doctor for prescribe medication to induce period. Practice safe sex. Good luck.
