Concerned After Flesh Came Out From Anus After Passing Stool. Solution?

hi doc, I am quite bothered by the flesh that came out of my anus after i passed stools . it makes me scared right now. i ve had this before, but after i passed stool, the flesh came off. now i had it again after years passed. it feels embarassing that i have something like this hanging on my ass. how can i solve this?thanks

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

Based on your symptoms, you could be suffering from a condition known as rectal prolapse.

In this condition, part of lower rectum comes out of anus (what you are seeing as the flesh), especially after passing stools.

This needs evaluation by a colo-rectal surgeon and a surgery may be required to sorrect it. If left untreated, it may lead to bleeding, soiling of clothes, and infection.
