Colonoscopy Done, Retrieved Tumor From Intestine, Had Anal Fissures, Fistulas. Survival Chances Post Surgery?

my mom had a colonoscopy today and they found an 8 to 9 cm tumor in her intestine and removed it. they think they got it all what are the chances of it being cancer , what type of cancer, and what are the chances of survival with surgery and other required treatment? a little background she has been suffering from anual fisures and fistulas since around october on and off.

The tumour they have excised has to be subjected to Histopathological studies which is done usually for every mass obtained.

Do follow up for the report .The report on the tumours histopathology will give all the answers you willing to know.
