Cold, Rashes On Cheeks, Red Throat, Enlarged Tonsils

Hello my toddler who is 3 years old has a bad cold which came on suddenly in one day and and has for the past two days had sunburn like rash with no raised lumps on one of his cheeks and has not been exposed to the sun. He has no fever but has a red throat suffers from enlarged tonsils. Can you help with clues as to what he may have without seeing him ovbiously? Thanks

Many viral infections can cause rash even without fever. If his throat hurts and he has difficulty eating or drinking it is better to show him to a doctor. If he does not look sick you can wait for one more day.
