Cold Hands, Feet, Chest Pain. Check Ups Normal. Family History Of Heart Attack. Causes For Symptoms?

I am 6'7, and 19 years old. I often have cold hands and feet , and every so often experience a pain in my chest . My father died at age 25 due to a heart attack , and I fear that I will suffer a similar fate. I have had check ups and the doctors say that there is nothing wrong, however due to the pain I feel, I know that something is wrong.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

If all your tests are normal, then there is nothing to be fearful about. Your father probably had a sudden cardiac death due to a sporadic reason.

I do not think it would carry over to you and as it is, your reports are normal.

Relax, enjoy your life, the pain is probable muscular in origin.

Eat well, drink plenty of fluids, and take care.
