Cold, Flu-like Symptoms, Left Ear Fullness, Muffled Hearing, Eye Discharge. Cure?

I ve had a cold and/flu-like symptoms for 6 days. Yesterday my left ear felt full, and I had muffled hearing , and pain with bending over. I also have eye discharge , both eyes for the last 2 days. I woke up and found me left ear to be wet inside, with light yellow watery fluid draining from my left ear, and now ringing and some discomfort in that ear.

Hi thanks for posting your query.

Discharge through both eyes and left ear following common cold are complications ,which result from flue.
The flue has resulted in otits media that is infection of middle ear due to which your ear drum has ruptured resulting in discharge through your ear.

The discharge through both eyes is due to blockage of naso lacrimal ducts ( ducts which drains tear from eyes into nose).

The decreased hearing is due to ruptured ear drum.

your advised to consult an ENT surgeon who will advice you regarding the management of perforated drum and blocked nasolacrimal duct.

Hope I answered your question.
